Under Knives

Tutivillus

Hard living has its benefits and its drawbacks. My 40th year pulls closer, this body grows older and my physical karma has come due. The years of reckless youth and wild adventure I headlonged through now reveal themselves through not so telltale pains and the annual surgeries to right the various wrongs I’ve committed.

Opps. Let it be a lesson! Take care of yourselves or the scars you bear will not be from playful memories or fetish dreams!

That said — with about six weeks of physical play downtime (or at least "hard play" downtime), I’ll at least be able to concentrate on some of my research and other projects that require attention.

And let us not forget all important real-life events upcoming! Those draw more willing attention than even the sharpest knife.

So, I’ll be out a few days this week. And when I return, it will be under the pillow-soft influence of meds.

Beware.

Painting Electric

Tutivillus

Paint brush, air brush, roller. Paint it on and turn your submissive into a living circuit.

Bare Conductive Ink

Bare Conductive Ink

Looking at the picure, there are many, many possibilities (and many questions) that come to mind when I look at this.  I have an Evil Genius at hand who is looking into the multiple options in case the creators of this product stay mum.

Tour their Site, take a look and learn more. This could be great fun!

Developed by Royal College of Art students Becky Pilditch, Matt Johnson, Isabel Lizardi and Bibi Nelson, this non-toxic conductive ink, called “Bare Conductive,” seems like it’d be great for electronic musicians and performers of all kinds.

Torture

Tutivillus

The current debate on the US Government using torture as a method of interrogation is interesting. Recent revelations about 26,000 members of the US Military Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training program serving as the control group used to define acceptable practice certainly added to the debate.

So, where is the line?

According to guidelines created by the US government approved methods cannot produce “prolonged psychological harm” (and obviously, the same goes for prolonged physical harm).

Obviously data pulled from members of a volunteer program who have a “safe word” will not be a satisfactory control!

So, I’m interested in what our community has to say about this.

Are these methods “right” or “wrong”?

I see us as “informal experts” on torture and the effects of torture, so I’d love to hear what you have to say.

Sound off.

Latex Corsets by Simon O

Tutivillus

I really have to thank Fakerockchick for this.

latex corsets

latex corsets

Corsets are beautiful things. Latex is a skin of beauty. Merging the two creates art.  Simon O appears to be a gifted individual, making both mens and womens latex wear.

Little adorns a dungeon more than latex.

Now, powder up and paint it on.

I saw these and immediately thought : Slave Housing

Easily made, easily modified and beautifully simple! I love them. They’re like cargo containers for your slaves!

I want some.  There are also other examples on the page:

The possibilities! Hehehe.

Houdini Chair? Surely You’re Mad!

Tutivillus

Yes. It would be much less expensive to use a common kitchen chair and rope.

The Houdini Chair

The Houdini Chair

The Houdini Chair - This example inspires some thoughts. I love the idea, it looks cool and would be a fun chair cover used to create atmosphere.

As a bondage device? Well, I don’t think that was the intent. However, with some thought and some modification, a very evil device could be created!

The Pleasure of Pain

Tutivillus

An article to read in Psychology Today.

The Pleasure of PainFind out why one in 10 of us is into S&M.

A friend of mine (and fairly new submissive to the scene) contacted me and related a familiar tale of unfair woe.

A casual relationship ends, she lets it be known that she is kinky. Man freaks and begins the abuse, using the kink as a pivot for abuse (did we mention that he’s vanilla?)

A word folks.

We’re not broken. We’re actually fairly normal! We’re just honest with ourselves.

Next time anyone tries to abuse you because you’re in touch with your sexuality? Thank them, smile and walk away…forever.
