When D/s becomes Abuse
How does one deal with a D/s relationship gone dark?
- First? Get the hell out!
- Call the Police. Although we’re often taught the Police may not be our friendliest Allie, in this case they most certainly are (in most cases you’ll find the Law is very much your friend).
- Do not feed Drama, but if you’re in a tightly knit community with common, public parties?
- …Get a Restraining Order. You may well have to quietly inform event organizers of the Order and provide a copy as proof.
- Did I mention “Do Not Feed Drama”?
- Take NOTHING personally.
- Do not put yourself in a vulnerable position! Protect yourself (legally) and your property (these cowards enjoy taking frustrations out on property).
There are many other recommendations and advices to be given. I’d love to hear them.

There can be a fine line between abuse and consensual kink. The key word is consensual. Unless you have given your consent to be humiliated and verbally abused, calling someone a 'fat whore' is verbal abuse. Here is an excellent website that outlines verbal as well as emotional abuse.
