The brain is wandering with the seasons today. As Fall approaches, I start thinking of darker scenes. Those visions and fantasies in action that push Western psyche past Taboo — into squirm and fear.
I have visions of shifting one or two witnesses into cluster-fuck overdrive.
Planning? Yes. But I’m one who strives for simplicity. I won’t make something into a Circus Sideshow unless that benefits the scene itself. That’s sometimes done to cover a Dom’s lack of skill – cheap paint covering a bad build. Simplicity adds to the impact itself.
Now. Where will the wander lead?
And which scene comes first?
I’ve been having an interesting conversation on Twitter (bdsm_group). The initial question was this:
“Beware “Lords”, “Sirs”, “Masters” – Ego alert. Thoughts?”
I know in the podcast I give the advice to folks new to the Scene “Run” from “Sir Lord Master Dommy Dom”. But does that mean anyone with “Sir” in front of their Scene Name is a bad thing?
Simon Blaise (a man in the BDSM world often accused of having an ego, but I can tell you from personal experience he’s a very down-to-earth guy.) replied with the following:
“beware people who are preoccupied with others’ egos
a humble person wouldn’t be offended by anothers’ ego or silliness
it’s the only way to live one’s own life
ShaynaDomina also sounded off:
“Of course it takes and ego to be a Dom/me. Is that a bad thing? One sub’s egomaniac is another sub’s confidant controller.”
This leads me to follow the question…what is the consensus of the wider readership?

DE let it be known that it was time for me to assert some authority. To answer that challenge I worked with my friend MindnBody to create the first set (in a long line) of rules DE will follow as my collared submissive/girl.
1. Girl must trim pubic areas and shave below the neck (armpits, legs).
2. Girl must wear a service collar at all times, unless taking a shower or otherwise directed.
3. Girl must address all Masters/Mistresses as Sir or Ma’am, unless otherwise directed. It is best to ask prior to using a title.
4. Girl must show respect at all times, both in action and verbally.
5. Girl will always be honest, and answer any questions put before her as thoroughly as possible.
6. Girl may not touch herself in a sexual manner without permission.
7. Girl may not achieve orgasm without permission.
8. All orders must be carried out in a timely manner.
9. Girl will eat after I am served.
10. Girl must ask to go to the bathroom.
DE was very resistant to Rule number 10, but eventually agreed. This is simply the first set to get her started…there are others coming.
And of course, there are tasks…stay tuned.

Saturday night was play time. DarlingEvil and I attended a Play Party with a few of our friends and had carefully crafted the opportunity to do a Scene side-by-side. Since this was to be a premier of her Domme skills for this group, DE was a little nervous.
No need. She was magnificent.
It’s quite an experience to be with your Love while performing a Scene. It’s even better when both of you are within quick reach of the other, Dominating submissives.
As I taught my sub the joys that come with impact toys being concentrated on her ass, DarlingEvil was running zippers and paddles over her sub. The small room was flowing with people moving in and out to the sounds of play. A good friend carefully positioned himself with our camera and captured miscellaneous moments.
It’s Wednesday now and I still feel the deep joy and happiness of being able to share that time with DE. Our subs were incredible, the night was a wonderful experience.
Right now, I’m a very happy Dom.

I love extreme play.
This isn’t something I do at many play parties. Occasionally I’ll pull out the stops and do something a bit more “stepped” if I feel the urge – or if it’s requested by someone I feel can handle it.
Sexual torture scenes, Edge Play, breaking a sub to the point of tears can really upset people…even those who have seen and been around the variety of sights.
Last Saturday I was asked to break a fellow Dom/Daddy’s girl. She loved the pain of “sharp, stingy” toys – canes, paddles, hard leather, nails, hair pulling. But adding the pain of continuous assault, sharp commands, holding her up by her hair as she tried to evade the blows…
…that was fun.
It’s something to be careful with. You must be in tune with your sub. Be sure they’re breathing. Be sure they’re not going into hysterics and that you’re not causing psychological damage. The point is to help them Release, not Harm them.
In my private scenes? Hehehe…believe me when I tell you — It gets MUCH more extreme.

This weekend is a Simon Blaise weekend.
A local group I belong to has brought him in for the weekend. He’ll be giving demonstrations and attending a play party today.
Last night there was a formal reception held in Simon’s honor. I’ll be honest – meeting national presenters always makes me a bit hesitant and wary. I wonder at the ego, the demeanor, the approach. I’ve met some people I have not enjoyed. Most have left me with a renewed sense of Kink and energy…so I should honestly lighten up. Still, I remind myself to open my mind and give everyone a chance.
What about Simon?
My first impression was meaningless. He seemed exactly as he portrays himself. A man who lives the BDSM lifestyle in the New Generation.
DarlingEvil and I walked forward and joined the small circle giving introductions. The second impression formed. He’s fun! A presenter, a performer…yes. He’s also someone who remembers people (he remembered DE from her profile on FetLife on sight…but who wouldn’t!) He’s approachable and personable.
Today we go to the demos and the play party.
DE has arranged to learn/experience some rope corsetry and possible suspension. I’ve left my card pretty wide open…I want to go with the flow this evening (although I’ve negotiated an opportunity to beat a delightful submissive).
Rejoining the kink subculture here has been a wonderful experience for us. I’ve missed these people and I’ve been so happy to meet new friends.
And yes…we’re taking a camera this time.
